Kit contains two eight ounce cans of R290 Refrigerant, professional charging hose with low pressure gauge, Vent test thermometer, Low side adapter, two service port caps and manual adjustable connector.
R290 operates at lower head pressures and offers colder air and improved performance compared to R22.
R290 will extend the life of a system because of the lower head pressures. R290 Replacement Refrigerant requires approximately 1/3 the amount of the original charge in the system and must be charged as a liquid.
R290 Refrigerant contains a Citrus Scent which aids in leak detection.
6 Kits Per Case.
Product Number: DC4022
Leaking systems must be repaired and be leak free before recharging.
Refrigerants can not be mixed in a system, existing refrigerants must be removed by a licensed technician. We recommend the use of Duracool DuraDry22 and Duracool SystemSeal22 (sold separately) before recharging.
Do Not order R290 Refrigerant if the intended
use is in a Central Residential or Central Commercial Air Conditioning System.
FrostyCool R290 Replacement Refrigerant is flammable and will ignite if it comes in contact with an open flame or spark and is not intended for use in systems designed for non-flammable refrigerants. Always work in a well-ventilated area and always follow all manufacturers directions.
